Class of 2027! 🎓

I recently had the chance to photograph nine of my Senior Team seniors for a fun cap-and-gown session celebrating this exciting season of their lives.

The seniors voted on the group shoots they wanted to do, and since we finally have water in the Medina River, they suggested cap-and-gown photos in the river. It wasn’t on my original list, but I loved the idea!

I love that we get to document more than just their final senior portraits. Throughout the year, we’ll be creating photos that capture their personalities, friendships, and all the things that make their senior year special.

Cap & Gown Senior Photos

We started this session with classic cap-and-gown portraits, including individual photos and group images of the Senior Team.

Cap-and-gown photos are such a fun way to celebrate how far these seniors have come while looking forward to everything this senior year has in store.

We also incorporated fun group photos and senior yard signs to add a little more personality to the session.

Individual senior sessions begin October 11, and each senior will have the opportunity to create photos that are uniquely their own. Some will bring sports, activities, and hobbies into their sessions, while others will focus on fashion, personality, locations, and the things they love.

That’s what I love about senior photography—getting to know each senior, capturing their personality, and documenting this season in a way that feels relaxed, fun, and true to who they are.

More Than a Senior Picture

My goal with senior photography is to create images that feel like the senior—not just photographs that look good.

Whether we’re photographing a senior on the field, at a favorite location, with friends, in a formal outfit, or doing something completely unexpected, I want their session to reflect who they are during this important year.

For the Class of 2027, this is only the beginning.

I’m looking forward to photographing each of these seniors throughout their senior year and watching their personalities come through in front of the camera.
